Introduction
Hi, my husband Dave and I own Harvest Faire. The Faire is entering it's 14th year, but we just bought is last summer. It is the best party ever, but it does need more variety in the entertainment and more promotion!
Are you ready to have a great time?

Yes, sign me up! Oops, I already did. LOL

Do you have other special skills - juggling, stilts, combat?

Juggling, slapstick tumbling, all sorts of accents.

Have you (or would you) act in front of people?

Sure, I am a total extrovert - it is hard to stop me from acting in front of people.

Do you play any instruments or sing?

I sing moderately well and quite loud. I play french horn, recorder, concertina, guitar, chanter and conch shell. I am learning fiddle and working on all of them.

Have you been in a Renaissance or Medieval Faire before?

I spent about 8 years working on a Medieval Festival in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have worked in Community Theater as well and I have helped organize events and conventions.

  •  Great -- I do want to be involved in other ways, to be sure. I should be able to get my DH to cover the stand so I'll be free to play more. Let me know what other spots you need help with. I would love to help with a human chess game, for example. Let me know if you need a snail mail address for the packet. I'm in Seaford. I've been to the big Renn fair up in central PA and it was great fun. Thanks for the shout.

  •  I was in a madrigal choir for 2 years and I know a lot about greek tragedies and commedia del arte (which is a little different but kind of in the same vain). I'm familiar with most types of theatre and I've done a little bit of everything.

  •  Hi Amy. Thanks for the welcome! I have never actually been "formal" particpant at the Sterling Ren Fair in NY. However, I have been to it twice and dressed as a Jester. One of my favorite characters! :)
