Introduction
Hi, My name is Robbin. I have done Renaissance in the past (mostly FLARF) and would like to get back into it. I have a 10yr old daughter and husband who are interested also. We love Living History and teaching Period games.
Are you ready to have a great time?

Always

Do you have other special skills - juggling, stilts, combat?

period cooking, storytelling, period crafts, creating, teaching and playing period games.

Have you (or would you) act in front of people?

I have stage experience and no problem performing. My 10yr old still gets minor stage fright but can do 'period' stuff. My husband is more of a 'background person'.

Do you play any instruments or sing?

I'm no 'Pavorati', but I can hold my own in singing.

Have you been in a Renaissance or Medieval Faire before?

Was part of FLARF (Florida Renassaince Faire) for 5 yrs and we go and play as much as possible...my daughter was the Princess Elizabeth for FLARF in 1999 and 2001.

  •  Hi again, just catching up on my emails. What crafts do you do? I do some garment work and can use the drop spinner - we definately need help on games and storytellers as well, though!

  •  We look forward to having you...whenever we can! LOL
Games is one of the topics coming up - I'd love to know more about what you have done. The faire has had a small midway, the re-enactors have done some play-for-pay games with minor prizes, etc. I would like to have some of the more involved games there for education and also we are including more programming for children, - and we have only run it once so far once (out of it's 13 year history) so we are open to all sorts of things.
